Started as a private joinery workshop in the North-East of Bulgaria in 1919, by the 1960s our company had grown into one of the major state-owned woodworking enterprises in the country, producing high-end bedroom and living-room furniture. Our products, although widely popular and highly demanded nationwide, were primarily exported to the former USSR where they enjoyed similar acceptance. Thus Avgusta Mebel soon became renowned as Bulgaria's foremost furniture exporter.
